Gray`s no world beater but is better than Costa and imo better than Harrison and for that money we missed a trick for sure.
He also has pace to burn.
Agree re Costa he has one good 20 minute spell in every 6 games.
Rodrigo had a slight knock and wasn`t risked today but hope he plays mid week.

Big gamble imo. CM was the No1 priority over the last two transfer windows. very strange strategy. hope it doesn't come back to bite us.

Think that`s a very shortsighted view as our squad is nowhere near enough a top half team.
One or two injuries/suspensions and we are relying on average championship players.
I`ve got to say we have some good lads in the 23`s so let`s hope they can deliver as Costa and Roberts won`t.
Just shows how good buying Gray would have been if we are not bringing anyone else in and at less than 2 m.

To be fair, we do have a stronger squad overall than we did last season, and most should be used to the system by now. We lack depth, but the depth is better than last season just about. Summerville us better than Poveda anyway.
I have a feeling Roberts will prove a lot people wrong this season. He's done well coming on in the last two games. He works hard and gets into good positions, he just needs to improve his end product.

Can sort of see where you guys are coming from and recognise we need to tighten our belts which probably sums up the concern I have.
Saying that if the rumours are true we were willing to spend circa 20m on various names Kent, Cunha, Lang to name a few.
The 23`s are looking good so fingers crossed we see a new generation come through.

How does forshaw fit into the picture? He's been out a long time but was decent before his injuries
