Agree about Dupree looks good every time I`ve seen him play admittedly that's about 5 times!
Don`t think we will look to get a FB as Myler will have one more year and then Hooley if his defence improves.
Half back for me 2 possibly unless Sinfield steps up.

While Myler is contracted to the end of next year I'd jump at a fast fullback if one is available.

Backs tend to drop in standard once their speed goes, forwards its hard to define but physicality just drops. Its really hard to tell when it will happen with any player, but next year Myler will turn 34, and Austin and Sezer will both turn 33. That is past even the term "veteran" for 1, 6 and 7. Its not ageist to point out that there's a very high risk that one or more of them will really struggle next year. Its just the real world.

Austin and Sezer haven’t exactly been bulletproof either. And that tends to only get worse with age.

On Myler, his game has never been based on speed, either in the halves or at fullback. So he might last a bit longer, but I agree some real pace back there wouldn’t go amiss.

Hopefully young sinfield can maybe take one of the halves spots, but even if that’s the case we’d probably need one more half for cover.

I'd like a half with a bit of pace. Mainly because of the attacking options that would open up. Hopefully in time Jack becomes the organiser that translates the pretty stuff into trophies.

Yeah, been saying this for a while. You need that to make the next level…..especially FB. We were just blessed with Mags and Burrow in the past. That won’t happen again…..

I'd be looking at young, athletic players in the Queensland Cup, who are a bit blocked (like Jai Field was) in terms of 1st grade NRL spots. Turuva, the young Fiji full back who is now just breaking into the Penrith side would have been an absolute dream. There will be others in a similar mold and hopefully Rohan knows who they are.
