I know he is a big cog in their pack, and every team wants his leaders out there, but it's got 'car crash' written all over it.

Was pleasantly surprised by him the other week. Thought he was ok around 4/5 years ago but has really gone downhill in the last 2 years. Glad he's not the VR because he often seems hell bent on disallowing tries when he does it.

I, like a few others would have liked to have seen Achurch for Kirke or Sutcliffe, but its hard to argue with that side really.

Could be a big risk, looked bad on the slow motion and i said straight away he was done for the season.Obviously he wants to play badly but heart can't rule head in these kind of games, if he isn't 100% he will be found out.

One of the Cas players posted a picture shortly after the game of him lying on a hospital trolley with pain etched on his face, you could visibly see how badly the dislocation was - will be surprising if he takes the pitch, he will have to be heavily strapped.

Hopefully the injury will stop his offload game, thats what hurt us when we met at headingley

I think a lot of teams in many sports have such a player - one who is rubbish yet is retained for years and years. No-one ever offers to take off your hands and when you do eventually release, ends up at a much poorer team; even in lower leagues. A lot of teams have them. I haven't followed RL for long enough to give specific names for other teams, but I think Kirke is Leeds'.



Y'know, the player who comes on and people groan and say 'oh no, not him'... yet invariably ends up being there for donkeys years and will have his name down as a 'winner' of any trophies the team were lucky enough to win that time.



I'm not sure who equivalent past Rhinos would be - sure some of you can educate me.
