we got hammered because koch got exposed time and again. put Philip's in there we improve massively.
remember going to Newcastle first game and losing 5-2. good job wilkinson didnt panic.....

Usual suspects Harrison dreadful, Bamford`s only chance and maybe should have scored.
Messlier cannot find a player from a deadball. and Koch and Strujk abysmal.
Raphina one of his worse games and Klich dying in the second half.
Leeds fans already being asked to be banned.
Like I said 3 players needed at least but we move on.

No need to panic at all. However we didn’t learn our lesson from last year at old Trafford that’s the biggest thing for me. Midfield was woeful. Koch had a mare. Raphinha worst game for Leeds. Klich worked hard with no end product as usual. Thought Struijk got dragged out of position too easily.

Lots to work on and a big blow at the season start. A timely reminder of our short comings whilst the transfer window still open is the only positive

first game and a tough start. they spent more on one player than most of our squad cost in total. no panic. comfortably mid table but we do need a quality midfielder sooner rather than later

Yes definitely agree Tad. Might sharpen their focus that result. Thing that hurts from today the most is that we didn’t learn from last year there. Bit humiliating

It`s a shame we didn`t sign Gallagher as he would have slotted in nicely.
With such a small squad and injuries to one or two key players .
We will suffer a similar fate to today.
I still think Rodrigo should play in front and is wasted at ten.
Funnily enough had Raphina scored which he should have done and Roberts hits the ball with his left instead of coming inside a 5-3 doesn`t look bad lol.

Yep bang on. Bielsa for all his genius has a flaw which is a small squad belief. Rodrigo definitely much better as a striker. We’ve Everton and Liverpool to come yet as well in next 3 games….

And that`s the issue that Bielsa likes a small squad and last year we got away with it.
If our small squad had quality back ups it might not be a problem.
But we are relying on Koch, Strujk, Roberts, Poveda and Costa as our back ups and they are simply not good enough at this level.
We at least need a striker unless Rodrigo takes that spot when Bamford isn`t firing and to put pressure on Bamford to perform.
We need a defensive midfielder and an attacking midfielder of reasonable quality who can change the game.
It`s not about panicking it`s about being realistic and should have been resolved before the season started.
I also don`t buy into this that the players signing for other clubs were not on our radar.
Btw did I see a fleeting glimpse of Marty on here yesterday?

Phil Hay suggesting that may change Leeds mind in the transfer market yesterday. Let’s see.
