Fusitua seems to be another one of those players that spends more time off the pitch than on it.
He needs a big season, otherwise he can go.
We can't afford highly paid O/S players sat in the stands most of the time.

Agent confirmed he's not going anywhere. He's seeing out his deal. Lets hope he has a big season.

You're right but it'd be a real downer if we never saw him at his best. There does look to be a terrific player in there.

I really liked Ava whilst he was at the club as he was a no nonsense type of player and IMO he was far better than anything that we've seen consistently from our current marquee prop Tetevano.
I've said for years that SL clubs don't need to sign marquee props as there are plenty of players in the NRL that can do a great job, Kylie Lealuai is a prime example and despite only making around 80 NRL first grade appearances before he joined us

Yeh I agree.
When he's fit and on the pitch, he's a real asset.
We just need him to string a run of games together.

Fusitua wouldn't be the first or last overseas player to come over have a torrid first year then a cracking second/third year, look at someone like Jai Field.

Its not always overseas players either didn't Keith Senior have a really ordinary first year at Leeds, it happens.

All true though form doesn't seem to be a problem. He's been pretty good when he's been able to actually get on the field

Fusitua has a lot of natural talent. This seems a strange bit of timing, would not be surprised if he did not see out the season.

More likely the Mole putting 1+1 together to make 3. I wouldn't be surprised if he wants to go back to the NRL next year but the offers he'd get now would be minimal as clubs have finalised squads.

It could be that the best outcome for us is he really digs in this year to impress NRL scouts for next season. I personally thought he looked a bit heavy last year. Not quite Hurrell but not as fit as he could be. He was still good when on the field, but I think he could do a lot more if he's fully fit and motivated.

Fusitua is a really great player, but no good to us if not demotivated and injury prone. I agree hi s conditioning didn’t look quite good enough to me last year. Big year for him….
On a side note I really hope Hooley gets some game time this year. I think could be a serious player for us .
