I reckon Harry will be somewhere near by late February. The problem I see is that I don't think he is of a disposition where he can ease himself back in and get his body properly acclimatised to real time games after such a long absence. He is very much bull at a gate. This is great but the club need to perhaps start him from the bench with instructions to dadey up if he feels any reaction

Think when he’s fit he plays at centre. RL is completely unforgiving and there’s no real way to ease a centre back in.
Luck will decide a lot. Hopefully he’ll go from strength to strength, but another bad Hamstring injury will be career threatening. Fingers and toes crossed for the lad!

For me, he's too slow and powderpuff in defense.

I hope I am wrong as we are paper thin in the centres/wings.

I'm not his biggest fan and he does need to improve in a lot of areas but pace i don't think is one of them.I'm sure i read a while back that he was the fastest man on the books.

Thats not saying much though. We've had some right plodders in the backs over the last few years.

Newman and Fusitua aside who are fast but have been injured forever, there is only Handley and he can be a headless chicken.

Sezer, Austin, Myler, Martin (when he played centre), Sutcliffe, Walker all had or have no pace.

When you look at Saints and Wigan, they have speed to burn.

Something that maybe Olpherts and MacDonald has part addressed....


Handley and Newman aside, there is no-one in our squad that would break the line a burn opposition defence.

We used to have that with Webb, Burrow, McGuire, Calderwood, Bai, Donald - but not so much in the last 5-6 years and thats a problemo.

Very good post, and I’ve been saying this for years. Think pace especially important from full back, Hence me saying we need a quality signing there. Tindall is genuinely exciting in broken field….do think we and the game needs that….

Interview in the Evening Post suggests they are targeting the first three rounds of the season for his return.
