Looking at Frosties list, Lui is contracted until the end of 2022, so 2 seasons left.

They could be options possibly if we are struggling to get a big signing now. It could buy us some time, improve the squad, until the right longer term men come available.

Moors is a plodder & hardly plays these days , Moa & Casty are too old if they aren't good enough for Catalans they shouldnt be good enough for us.

If we keep on making mid-table signings, we are not going to make any progress.

It’s almost like an admission of defeat every time we do it.

And if we do sign any more squad-fillers, at the very least they should be on 1 year deals only. I don’t like seeing average players given 2 and 3 year contracts as standard because they “fit in” (or because it’s the only way we can attract new players...).

I think the club know this, and we are trying to move into a different phase now the ship has been steadied.

If we fail to land our big horrible thing this year I hope we have a few irons in the fire for next.

No more squad fillers i'd rather wait until the right man can be brought in.

I can’t believe Lui has 2 years left... I’m happy to have him for depth in the halves but I’m just hoping he’s not taking too much cap space.

Agree - thing is at the time we got him we needed him, we were in a fair bit of trouble. Maybe that was what we had to offer to get him here, I know he hadn't moved over from Manchester so maybe a move back might appeal at the end of next year.

Lui's one of the biggest earner s at the club! Remember he was a desperation signing and at the time he helped us avoid relegation. We had to pay over the odds on salary or we'd have probably gone down with Tui and Myler in the halves.....
