Agreed. There are no obvious replacements at six in either SL or the NRL. Getting rid of players mid contract on a whim is bad for player morale, bad business and bad for the clubs image. Get him fit, get him motivated and see what happens. If Lui is as bad as some think, McLelland will soon have his spot.

No it isnt it is still fairly early days.I will be be happy if we can sign a top prop.I don't want anymore squad fillers so one good signing will do for mine.

So I questioned my source on Sims and he said we were enquiring about him but he wasn’t what we wanted. The Fifita link is one we want and we are willing to marquee he said, not sure on how it will go. He said a few more enquiries have been made and will let me know when he finds out the names.

I think we have left it too late, there are not too many top grade props out of contract now or in 2021 who I think would come to Leeds. We would have to negotiate the realease of one such as fifita. I can only dream of Taupau but manly wont realease him now. Josh Mcguire anyone?

He's always been a 13 for me
So with us already having Prior and Cam Smith in that role then he's not really what we need

Josh McGuire is one tough and uncompromising nasty barsteward but I can't see him signing for us

I'd agree but his stats this year playing at prop are decent, in the top 15 for post contact metres.
I expect Leeds will announce a relatively big name to sell season tickets

Josh McGuire is one of the most underrated forwards of his generation. I think he'd be a great signing, better than Fifita
