We need to strengthen the middle of the pitch to add to Ava, Mik, Prior and Tommy the Tank thats for sure but i think the powers that be know that.

Yes Catalans bullied us but so they should once Ava and Mik was lost. Physically we had no chance of competing in the middle.

We should be stronger in 2021.

Just one really strong prop with an all-round game, gives us them, Ava, Mik, Tom punching holes down the middle with Prior and Smith adding. Mellor and Martin both have some pace and we have O’Connor, Walters, Edwards, Gannon etc. coming through. We could do with another prop coming through still

We need hard players not necessarily “enforcers”.

It hasn't helped that in recent years we've been recruiting from a position of desperation and have needed to quickly improve the quality and quantity.Now we are more settled hopefully we will put more thought into the 1 or 2 signings we make.

If we were physically up to it down the middle they wouldn't have had much luck trying to bash us out of the game. If we get the pack right we will be a handful for the opposition, rather than being a target.

What I did think was that this Leeds side was absolutely game and wouldn't take a backward step, which was great. Before he got concussed big Mik was going after bigger Kasiano, and I thought we were playing with great spirit to be honest. Brave against the odds.

If we can establish more power down the middle we'll go a long way with the attitude this squad has IMO.

Take your points, however Furner told Cuthbo he was finished over 20 months ago, wrongly but the end was coming. Crosby has not played in 2 years and we’ve known about ward all year. We’ve not signed either a prop or quality BR to replace those 3. We’ve had years to think about it but taken no action whilst Wigan and saints and wire have.

We seem happy now to not even try to win SL.
Think we need someone with a bit of
Hunger and drive to take the big Lancashire 3 on and I do not see it.

We have millions of ££££s to repay for the renovation of Headingley, that shouldn't be understated. However, we've also signed the likes of Merrin, Hurrell, Prior and Gale in that period. The turnover within the squad since Sinfield came in has been huge. And although we aren't where we need to be, we are definitely going in the right direction. We just need to be patient.

Losing our main strike forward after what? 2/3 mins in a game with HIA didnt do us any favours, especially when Mik was busted later in the game.

We adapted and started stretching them out on the flanks which is what we shouldve been doing anyway, not willy waving bravado down the middle trying to go toe to toe with that monster pack.

I honestly think that game will really be a fire lit under some players to make sure should the opportunity come round again in the same position we'll have the hunger to see the job through as with a few possible descisions going our way we maybe couldve pipped them in that game.
