They deserve criticism for losing a game.....yes but it happens and it wasn't as if the opposition played average, they lost to a very strong Hull performance. For all the criticisms of this team and coach they had beaten this team in all of the last 8 meetings before yesterday.
Got to give credit to Hull, they look a different beast in this cup competition in the last 2 seasons. Saints away, Wigan SF and Warrington F in 2016, runaway league leaders Cas and ourselves who they hadn't beaten since 2014 this year. They've just got a roll on in this competition lately and it's no shame or drama to be added to the list of defeated opponents.
They were plenty of 'Wane out' and squad overhauls thread the 24 hours after Wigan lost to Hull in last years SF from keyboard coaches who "saw this coming for years" yet didn't see a GF win a few weeks later.
