Entry age into SL is generally a little bit higher than it used to be, apart from a few exceptions. Days of kids hitting 18 and expected to step up as a rule are over, the game has changed and so have coaches expectations.
Ongoing litigation cases are going to effect this even further in the future!

True. We need to enjoy the sport as it is, coz if these cases win (which you just know they will) sport will be unrecognisable even as early as next season.
Will be even worse than it got last year……

FWIW Lewis Dodd is vastly overhyped at this moment, he will be a good even great player but he isn't their yet

Yeah 3 halves could work, if we signed a fullback then myler could cover the position. I agree Dodd is overhyped, he will be a great player but isn’t fully there yet. The way they try to get him there is by playing and gaining the experience. That is what I would want us to do with young Jack. Realistically he may go to Union when he is 21/22 anyway

I’ll trust in Rohan’s judgement- attitude off the pitch is also important.

There are some senior players there who have been inconsistent in an inconsistent side. If we are serious about building a dynasty again we need to increase the quality of senior players. Most should go from this list unless willing to play for what they are actually worth.

If Tetavano plays the rest of the season like he did yesterday, I'd happily give him a one year deal but it would be on a lot less money, something I can't see him accepting when he would probs get a two year deal somewhere else in SL.

Why a lot less money? That B would be an insult to him and he’d go to a rival. Is our pack leader now. We’re not going to be able to sign anyone as influential easily……
