So how would it help if he came out and said we're looking for players, particularly a HB? Nothing to gain by making that public knowledge and on the chance he then fails to land one he looks bad.

They'll be a signing, it just won't happen until the Hardaker issue is resolved first.

What's to lose by saying Leeds are looking to strengthen the squad? Really, after that abomination of a season when you are looking to sell season tickets that effort is the best GH can come up with. If it's not true and we are looking to buy players then it's a PR disaster. Even if it is true, then it's still a PR disaster.

Meh,hes palmed off more season tickets than normal this year due to panicking people into buying their season tickets to secure their place in the ground next year.

Loads of time before next season starts (15 weeks), rushing out a "we're going to sign X, Y and Z" but without actually naming names isn't really going to get people rushing for Season Tickets when the memory of this season gone is still fresh.

bringing segeyaro in for hardaker is nonsense.
who came in for fallon then? The last few years recruitment have on the whole been cheap with the hope of a few of the leaders to pull us through. We never replaced the 3 legends so if we get no.one to replace zak it wouldnt be a suprise

GH has served up several turd sandwich announcements in recent years but they've usually been accompanied by a sprinkling of sugar at the very least.

Must have run out of sugar.

Still, it must still be a good squad because only one Cas player would get into the Leeds side.
