I know for a fact he was days from being sacked last season. The only reason he wasn't was that GH didn't want a rival taking him on a free.

As it happens, he turned it round and ended the season really well.

Not spoken to my source today so total speculation, but I wouldn't be surprised in the slightest if the personal issues have reared their head again.

Someone will go for him as they've seen what he CAN do (though not what he's doing at the moment). £300k is a lot though (wasn't that what Tomkins went for?)

300k is fanciful, he's been extremely poor this year and has a record of on and off-field disciplinary issues.
Added to the fact it's not a good time of year as most clubs will be at or close yo the salary cap, Leeds will be lucky to offload him at all.

Hahaha do you realise how much these NRL clubs make?
There will be more than a few who would be willing to pay that for an England fullback regardless of form
A few clubs could afford to pay that for him to be their second string fullback with the possibility of him coming good

But obviously not in the way you think. Make it clear to you, Zak is the one who asked to leave, and there is a perfectly understandable personal reason. He had an offer to go straight away, but Leeds could not agree a swap deal with the player they wanted.

If the Club have done the right thing here to accommodate genuine personal reasons for example should they get some credit for this?

I'm quite sure you know full well some (if not all) of the reasons why it's in the best interests of the club to get rid of him and for both parties to finally move on.

Feel free to keep spinning it as Hardaker being the architect of the move.

Tomkins went for 700k and his salary was around 500k per year (around $1 mill)
Given that you would say Hardaker is a steal!

Interesting. If that is the case, then best for all parties to move on. And credit to the club I guess.

I can assure you you are wrong here. If you find out the reason, you will, like anyone else understand fully. Might not be dissapointment, but you will still understand.

Of course they do. There is a reason, the club have understood that, and are losing out because of it. The club have tried all they can to persuade different. They deserve nothing but credit for backing him.
