It's not how much talent you've got, it's what you do with it that counts.

I think Wigan's pack looks strong as is Warrington's.
Bookies aren't in the business of getting it too wrong.

Is that why they had England as odds on today for the 2018 World Cup?

Looks like a bit of a gap developing between the rest of SL and the top 4....with us pretty much outsiders at 6/1.

I think the bookies have it pretty spot on. Wigan are the team to beat and saints and wolves look most likely the two main threats with leeds and hudds the outsiders.

Leeds IMO won't make the grand final but it wouldn't be a huge shock if leeds went onto win it.

I think hudds will make a huge push for grand final this year.

When all anyone wanted to back was England, why would you offer bigger odds than necessary?

Such optimism.

Only the most blinkered would state we have the best backs...without McGuire ( who might yet suffer losing the edge to his pace ) we have an offensive liability centre playing alongside a defensive liability counterpart, a stand-in-stand-off, a gutsy but questionable scrum half and two wing-it-wingers with retarded speed.

Such optimism!!! I feel this is a tad harsh. I believe our retarded speed winger you refer to in smith will be a completely different player

Why is there this huge optimism for hudds to do well? If I am honest I haven't paid any attention to there recruitment, but if they haven't recruited much I think people are over egging them. I am personally happy people think we are in declne and not fav to win, think injuries pending we will go well. I would have been tempted to put a quid on bulls with them
odds but they don't have any decent half backs at the moment which puts me off them.
