Yes I agree. This rumour has some legs. I’d sooner have Thompson though between the two but would be chuffed with either. Simms has been linked for a while too

Not a rumour, but going to throw in Gil Dudson here. Salford may be in financial trouble and could be off loading players.
Whilst no world beater, he is above average, tough works hard, runs hard, could be a useful addition and replace Crosby, better than Crosby (even when crosby was on the field) replace Cuthbo with a high end signing. Thats our two new props.

Hasn't Gil Duddon signed for Catalans for 2021?

We need two props i think because we're losing Cuthbo and Crosby and we already needed another middle this Season. Hopefully we can bring in high quality prop and someone like Dudson or Amor type prop to help cover our front row.

It was reported in the Aussie press weeks ago. Should we have re signed him ? I doubt GH would have wanted him back TBH
