I don't think McDermott's time is up yet (nor do I think it should be) but obviously he'll go at some point. When that happens would people be happy at having Tony Smith back? Genuinely interested as to people's opinions on this.

Obviously he's a good coach. Would he be the right fit? Is it good to have a coach back again or should we move on?

I would like to see McDermott go at the end of this season on good terms, we look a decent bet for top 4 and that would represent a good season imo.with should have an announcement some time in a couple of months or so and be planning his replacement.all my opinion of course.

I don't think it will happen though. And yes, i would be quite happy to see Smith back at Headingley, i think having 8 years at Warrington he has run his course there but he only served half that with us first time out.Only him or Powell interest me in the english game TBH.

No on Smith, whatever you say about his style it has been a massive failure not to win a GF with Warrington. And he's always relied on his club splashing the cash bringing guys in, our next coach won't have that luxury unless something changes with GH. Over 8 years at Wire and how many academy players have been or are KEY starters for them?

Yeh winning pretty much every week, scoring nearly 33 points per game and 3 trophies was awful!
