If you want to speculate, what about Powell signing a contract on the pitch before the game and then going to sit in the Leeds dug out...

no he wasn't he stepped down said he was not ready for job so finishes season and tony smith came in.

My take on it was that he was told he wasn’t ready for the job! It was staged to save face for him as a former player.

Was told today by a Director they are in no rush to appoint a new head coach and they are happy to wait and they have every confidence in Agar, lots happening behind the scenes,
