As it stands at the moment it'll be exactly £0 as without significant investment there will be no tests here at all. Mind you, it's not without precedent, didn't LCC chuck 7m at Yorkshire CCC a few years back? Or was that just one of those preferal loans? I can't remember where I got that from just my memory of that situation.

Regardless of whether Sal's trolling, the council will definitely come in for flak if they're perceived as having money to burn on sport but insufficient to spend on care for the elderly, say. I don't see them underwriting anything like the level of cost that's been mentioned tbh.
