Heard all this before about how we missed out in this n that player. Lee Mossop, Greenwood, George Burgess, Widdop. All spring to mind and others. Field is a reserve grade player not Brett Kenny mark 2 we don‘t want another Lolohea on our books. We have better and should aim higher.

I do think if we replace Lui it needs to be someone of real high quality - we had Danny Mags for so long, who won us a few big games single handed. A six should be winning MoM or thereabouts at least sometimes...

Field's kicking game is poor under limited pressure. He's sharp in broken play, but I don't want him. Would rather use our overseas quota on a prop and maybe a decent winger like Mansour.

Jai Field is rapid and if he get's in the clear then he's probably going to score without a doubt

My initial concerns with regards to Field (when we were linked with him) was purely down to his limited appearances within the 1st grade system in the NRL and as to why he had made so few appearances?

If you're a Rhinos fan wondering why we haven't signed him ?

Where would we have played him?
How long a contract would he have signed and on how much?
Is he worth an overseas quota spot?

It will be very interesting where Wigan decide to play him

I agree with everything you’re saying, but my biggest fear is he turns out to be a superstar and we’ve missed out again, the club would look like a joke, it’s alright saying I’d rather wait but we don’t even know if the clubs going to get anyone, even with COVID wire have signed Inglis ( might be past it so not really a biggie) and wigan and saints have gone out and done their business, we are just silent on all of it other than Thompson resigning to many fans disappointment

Agar did publicly admit an interest in him which is unusual for the club.Perhaps myler emerging as a viable 1 and good utility option (plus the contract extension) meant are interest cooled.
