Regarding Fensom I fully respect people's opinions of him, some of which are not too praiseworthy
But IMO we are in a big transition period and we urgently need to re-build a "team" and to do that we will have to incorporate lots of different types of players to do so.
Some of which will need to be able to offer far more in attack than what we currently possess and some will need to be able to bend their back's and do some tough defence.
Somewhere along the line the make up of our new squad/side will have player's that complement one another and will hopefully enable us to form a successful "team"
As Mark mentioned previously regarding Marc Glanville not being the eye catching signing that we were hoping for at the time, neither was he the flashiest player going forward,But he certainly earned respect with what he added to our "team" during his 2 year stint at the club.
His hard graft and tough defence allowed powder puff players like Andy Hay to shine in attack, when Hay simply couldn't tackle a hot dinner and was regarded as a renowned shirt puller.
Furner has previously coached Fensom at both the Raiders and the Cowboys so I would imagine that "IF" Fensom actually signs for Leeds that he has fully endorsed his signing and believes that he will be a great addition to our club
I'm happy to give Furner a chance to rebuild our club's fortunes and to bring his choice of players in to do so
