He's a 6 who happens to be rapid, faster than a lot of NRL wingers, so like most fast young 6's, he's played a lot at fullback and can do a good job there. He was an absolute superstar 6 coming through the u20's at the Warriors. When he's played 6 in the NRL he's done just as well, if not better than hastings and miles better than Drinkwater at that level.

Looking at the wests Tigers forum when we signed him, they all thought he played well when playing 6 last season after his mid-season transfer, but they thought he struggled when he was moved to fullback at the start of this season.

I'd like to see lolahea at 1, DW at 6 and myler at 7.
Walker as left wing or FB back up.
If we can sign a prop and get ward and Ferres fit we should at least do a little better next year

Id rather us sign a winger and play a winger on the wing, a fullback at fullback and a standoff at standoff.

With the right attacking structure, much of which is dependent on the pack doing their job, I’d like to see Walker at 1, Lolohea at 6, Myler at 7, Parcell at 9 and Ward as a ball playing 13. That means we need a couple of big line breaking back rowers and a yardage prop.

If we sign a genuine left centre then I’m happy enough with a combo of Golding and Luke Briscoe on the wing.

How like are to sign several of those kind when we have Ablett, Delaney,jjb and Ferres still on the books?.

I agree that would be a decent way to go but can't see it until we shed some BR players

I’d like to know how people think we are bringing drinkwater in without releasing one of our quota players as currently (with the rumoured signing of Fensom) we are up to quota.

Lolohea - NFT
Peteru - NFT
Cuthbertson - NFT OQ
Parcell - NFT OQ
Delaney - NFT OQ
Garbutt - NFT OQ
Fensom - NFT OQ.

We would also have to release one of the five on overseas and non fed trained quota as drinkwater would count on both.

I will be surprised if he is retained. But I don't think his spot will be freed up for another half.
