Would have to agree. If its already been decided Dannys coming as AC, Smiths coming as HC imo

The problem with smith is he's had his peak era as a coach.

All speculation we all know Willie Poching will be in the reckoning tomorrow. It will be very interesting, but I know its still early in the season, but we do need this turning round performance wise very quickly

Find it extremely unlikely that you would appoint an assistant before your head coach.

Likewise, Danny McGuire hasn't done anything as yet to prove he should be either assistant or head coach at Leeds. We can't afford another 2-3 years of wasted time trialing McGuire. He could be a success or flop at this stage and we cannot afford the risk of another unsuccessful coach to further delay our growth. Let him prove himself for another three years at KR before considering him at Leeds.

McGuire makes sense, little experience but used to play for us so get him in.

Leeds tried it time and again with bremner, Clarke, gray etc.
gray did ok but it never worked.
get an aussie in and let the players know he is staying so if they dont like it they can go

I was hinting at all the speculation about the new coach . Everyday a new candidate comes into the reckoning. I was saying Poching has had a few good wins it wont be long before someone is saying he's favourite for the job .

The coach, Peter Williams, ( George Williams father) currently coaching in Perth, he comes recommended by Ricky Stewart, he is friends with Agar. Served his time with Wigan coaching their juniors, moved to Aus, now a coach in Perth. He has no experience of the NRL, Stewart rates the man highly as a coach.
GH will like him, he will be cheap, but with a OZ back ground he will have his own skills, may be a long shot, but this chap can do no worse that what we currently have in place
