No but a fractured eye socket and skull is an unfortunate and a bad injury. I would suggest that it is the seriousness of the injury that his keeping him out and not that he is 32 years old. As I said his age has not reduced his work rate this season.

Given JJB and Ablett are in the same boat and Ferres seeming unfit and Ward injury prone it's really effecting the team.

You seem to have forgotten that for the past few season we have had long and serious injury lists which have reduced the chances to rotate players. All coaches have to field players that sometimes are carrying minor knocks including Sinfield.

I do agree and similar to Handley in that respect. Some players just don't have what it takes in defense.

Brett will and always has run his blood to water but please let's not show sympathy with another contract because of the seriousness of his face. If it were a hamstring or any other injury most would want new blood instead. Let's hope sinny has the toughness to release his old mates. A massive thank you to Jjb Ablett and Delaney at the game v Toronto will do.

Agreed. The worry is that Sal is right and all 3 are in next year. Leeds have announced a farewell to Moon and Hall v Toronto but no mention of any of the 3 back row men.
To go into next year with all 3 plus Ferres and an injury plagued Ward would be a huge error and then leave possibly all bar Ward needing to be replaced at end of 2019. I reckon at least 1 will move on.

Miles on his battered crumbling body had already done a job along with his age long before this latest "unfortunate injury".
Also once again you use injuries as an excuse for zero rotation or rest here's a clue "HE WAS SELECTED WHILST CLEARLY INJURED".
Just like Jjb Ablett & Ward. Its mis-management on any scale & now 3 of those are done.

He can't get selected in front of a pretty ordinary 20 year old scrum half, and he's not as good as Myler. So no.
