if you think Greg Eden is a better player than Tom Briscoe (i assume you not counting hall) then you need to stop watching RL. Briscoe maybe as not lived up to is potential, but would be back being an Internatiol class winger at most other clubs, eden is crap bang average

Eden is great in a team that could cover his weaknesses. At Leeds, those weaknesses would be exposed

He is a lot better than Luke Briscoe, and lets not forget your other postings before stating others should stop watching RL.

if we was to go for a winger I'd like us to go for Mcgilvery or Johnstone I'd take Manfredi but don't know if he'll be same player after his injuries,but personally I'd like us to sign a class centre and at least one quality prop and one quality second rower.

Jonstone would be ideal but wouldnt mind Tom Lineham either, Still fairly young (26 in couple of week) big, quick and powerful... 109 trys in 147 superleague games. Leeds lad too i think.

I think Lineham would be a good replacement for Hall, Lineham does tend to have some stupid moments but can't think of any that are really ridiculous or outrages, Both him and T.Briscoe were on fire for Hull in 2011-2013 if he came to Leeds might pick up Briscoes top form again ?? Lineham is a Leeds lad so wonder if he'd like to play for his hometown club.

In fairness, playing on the wing covers most of his weaknesses. Playing Greg Eden at full-back is like playing Paul McShane at prop. He just doesn’t have the attributes for it. What Eden does well is make metres on kick returns. He’s got the pace to go the length of the field from an intercept or a deep break, and knows how to hold his width in attack close to the opponent’s line.

I’ve no idea why anyone thinks under-contract Castleford would move to Leeds. We know Hetherington doesn’t pay over the odds in wages so they aren’t going to be tempted by money. Hetherington is also unlikely to pay transfer fees, so again Cas aren’t going to let players leave for free (particularly as one of the few clubs making profit in the last few years).
