Salfords official twitter account taking the absolute pi*s out of us, players should be embarrassed of themselves, giving it the big talk of owing them one in the press, then serving that garbage up. The sooner plenty of this squad are gone, the better.

I'd imagine conversations about winding down contracts early have already begun.
If Smith has watched even half his videos he can't have failed to identify several who aren't worth persevering with.

I suppose this is perhaps an advert for not putting a bunch of players back in straight after long lay offs.

Leaving aside the obvious front row issues, the sad truth is that in the key spine positions - full back, stand off, scrum half and hooker - our current options (with the possible exception of a fit Sezer) are nowhere near the best in the league in their position. The decision to extend Myler's contract was a classic example of our lack of ambition in this regard. Granted we are a better side when he is in it, but with 30 seconds thought I can name Field, Welsby, French, Tompkins, Coote and Connor. They are clearly much, much better Full Backs. Try the same exercise with Leeming and Austin and it gives you a sense of the size of the problem. Depressing.

A really disappointing performance after the HKR game, although Salford played well. King had another good game against us for Salford, we struggled to contain the Salford pack and halfbacks.
Agree with the above regarding Dwyer, even by his standards his distribution was poor today. He missed a few tackles too. Salford seemed to Single Broadbent out from the kick off and he had a torrid 1st half but did seem to improve a bit later on.
Salford targeted Myler when we attacked and that stifled our attack. Not sure about the criticism of Donaldson, I thought he was as good as any of our forwards. I'm not sure but don't recall Salford scoring while he was on the pitch.

Wasn’t given that many minutes but looked ok, seemed a handfull, although i think he did try a daft offload close to their line wasting another opportunity
