I've got a foolproof way for us to win a trophy this year, at the beginning of every month Hetherington needs to state that McDermotts job is on the line unless we improve. It's the only time the team seems to give a damn.

a mentally weak referee is useless. it's mentally more demanding than playing

Fck me. Every decision. That goal line drop out now.

For all that we have been beaten up front, reverse the refereeing bias on the small as well as a couple of large (Westwood, second try) decisions and the scoreline would be very different.
