Mee too. If we’ve not got anyone quality over the line this week I will be even more worried. They’ll take ages to get upto speed with Bielsa and we’ll be going to Liverpool with no Ben White/or his replacement and only one striker and only one CB.

They need to get the deals done and get them done ASAP. I know it’s open until October but knowing what Bielsa is like any new signing will be behind the 8 ball by then

Also, Orta and Radz are in Valencia to discuss terms with Rodrigo. It's between us and Atletico, although we're willing to offer more.

Rodrigo deal is done. Just medical to pass tomorrow. Great signing is that. Real intent shown. He’s Spain’s number 9. Can play wing also which is where he played this season hence his not great goal tally plus was in a struggling side. He’s all class though

I’d like us to bring in 2 cbs now. Koch and Holding would do for me now White deal is dead. Bielsa could make Holding live up to his potential and he has prem exp. gutted about White though.

Agree re Koch I think he will be a good signing. Holding has the potential and I understand he might go out on loan which would be good if he came to us on loan freeing up some funds.
I still think we need some experience in the middle with possibly Delph or Cook returning.

I don't think we'll sign Koch and Holding (imagine the jokes haha). Koch would be a great signing, but I think we will go with Stryuik (sp) as back up. Holding does have all of Bielsa's required attributes, but he seems very injury prone, I don't think he'd be able to handle the training.
There's rumours that we're interested in Cook and Viera. Given the choice, I'd rather have Viera back.

Seriously I wasn`t aware of that.
Viera would be a good shout although he is still relatively young.
How`s he doing over in Italy?

He seems to be doing ok. He made 27 appearances last season. There's about half a dozen clubs after him. £9m would be a bargain.

Agree re exp in the middle. We deffo need cover for Philips. Foreshaw can’t be relied upon even if he gets fit again.

Be interesting to see where Bielsa plays Rodrigo though.. surely he’s got to be starting but will that be where Bamford plays or where Costa does. There’s also thinking he can play where Hernandez does. His best position according to Spanish experts is as a 9 but he likes to play a bit wide right and run at defenders..

i reckon Rodrygo will be played with Bamford akin to where Roberts was playing off the front with a licence to roam wide.keep Pablo coming off the bench this really does give us many different options at changing things up with how a game is panning out, a very good signing.

if we can now get Koch signed up the team is looking good to go. any more signing on top of that from here will be a nice bonus.
