There isn’t much difference nowadays and hasn’t been for some time, since scrums became unopposed.
What we do need is more big (ish) dynamic line busting forwards in the pack who also stop us getting rolled down the middle, easy to say, but this is our weak spot.
As well as not replacing our star players we haven’t really the likes if Brett Delaney or even the Ian Kirkes

I think a larger line breaking back rower is incredibly effective if the middle can just compete. Mcmeeken at Catalans and Mata’utia at saints are dynamic and playing a bit wider they can cause major issues.
Be honest I don’t know much about the lad, he looks dynamic, big and powerful and if smith can polish him up a bit then could be just what we need.

Interesting one. Probably won't play much next year but at least we look like we're planning for the future which includes some genuine big lads in the forwards.

Yeah I like this sort of recruitment. Young, British, big lad with good athleticism and bags of potential. Wont have cost much in salary either. It fits in perfectly with Smith's coaching in that he particularly enjoys improving young players with talent. Welcome to the Rhinos.

Great to see both Dupree and Trout playing well at the top end of SL.
Gutted we let them both go, but obviously you can't keep every young player.
Especially as they were not seen as good a prospects as Holroyd, who can't stay fit.
Could really do with them both now!
