So TWP getting their big earners off the payroll meaning they won`t have to pay them off.
The club should sadly fold as far as SL status goes and maybe try and create an American league in the first instance and come back with a plan if successful.

Pay for it or lose it people. Local newspapers have been going bust all over the country for years and even the newspaper for a city as big as Leeds isn't immune to the horrendous economics of local journalism.

If 10 or 20 years ago you were happy to pay 30p a day for a copy of the YEP then I'd suggest seriously thinking about taking out a subscription, which I've just done for the same amount now.

I like to criticise Peter Smith every now and then but just imagine a world where he and the newspaper didn't exist.

Depends on how much it is as I already subscribe to The Athletic but I’m a supporter of the Yep so I’ll consider.

£2 per month seems more than reasonable, but I do find the 5 free articles per week thing to be misleading. It's more like 5 free pages, as they split some of the articles on there over more than one page, an each page is classed as a separate article.
