Handley is bang average, but credit to him for improving his hands this year. Put his try scoring down to Hurrell inside him, pretty obvious that.

I know the title of Agars job before he came in as interim coach ,but what did his job entail ?

Flanagan has just been told by the NRL that he still cant come back there in 2020, so you'd assume he'll be up for a SL gig. He'd certainly be my pick.
A slightly left field one, Danny Buderus has just quit his role at Newcastle over how they've handled the Nathan Brown sacking. Wouldn't be my choice, but would fit with the 'jobs for the old boys' culture we have. That being said, he's got a cushy media job too, so he'd probably not want it.

The only part I'd question is around McD not improving 1 player - think that's a harsh assessment. Without really thinking about it, I'd say Hall, Watkins, Ablett, Delaney (and I'm sure if I really put some effort in, I could think of others) all improved their game over the years with McD at the helm. Whilst natural talent obviously plays a big part, it would be naive to think McD didn't play a part.

Those individuals already had the Talent though is my point mate none of them improved beyond that.
For e.g Look how Murray improved individuals to then become vutal cogs in the Team ,Smith did the same i dont see that with Mc.D.

Flanagan let a quack test drugs on his squad then when banned ignored the directive not to be involved with the club from day one. He may be a good coach but ethics???
