Yes, they've a very tough run to come, Ipswich and Southampton play each other April 1st.

Ipswich tough fixtures don't come until April but they do have a tricky tie this weekend at Plymouth. I see yet again we have another lunch time away fixture this weekend...... we really do have to do it the hard way thanks to Sky.

Gave a great account of ourselves tonight. No injuries, goals for young Joseph who looks a real talent, top performance from Gray and confidence all round. Yes Firpo has no awareness and Messlier should have saved the first one but I’m not going to be negative about that.

Now down to the real business at the weekend.

outplayed them for large parts of the game. now it's out of the way. leicester another game to rearrange.
the big game is Saturday.

Yeah no complaints from me about the loss. Would rather we concentrate on the league, good to get through the game without any injuries and some of the fringe players getting some decent minutes in their legs.

First time ive watched Chelsea play this season, they really do have some poor players.

Not half. Need to get him into midfield regularly next season.. he really has some sublime vision and composure.

I honestly believe had we been at that game full tilt last night we would have won. but main thing is we left with heads held high and no injuries

I agree. full strength we win it.
not sure if what that says about Chelsea mind.
forus I think it means invest in 4 or 5 good players and with farke at the helm we'll be fine at that level

Yeah interesting topic that Tad if we do get back up. We will certainly have learnt lessons from last time. To me left back and right back are hugely important positions in the modern game, particularly at the top level. I quite like the look of Connor Roberts, he seems to have good awareness and an eye for a goal going forwards. Firpo did ok last night but he positional play at times is a bit wayward and he gets found out by good players at that level. Let's hope we can have planning discussions in a couple of months
