GH's stance may result in the odd player thinking twice about reneging.

It won't stop clubs tapping up. For that to happen, he'd have needed to announce that leeds had picked up a substantial fee. Which I'm sure he would have, had they done so.

Anyone with half a brain would surely realise that this particular player never wanted to stay with the club,If you think that a player that doesn't give a 5h1t about us is such a great loss to both us and also SL then you are clearly either deluded or just playing your usual boring wind up games

I wish all the best of luck to Segeyaro at the Sharks and would never diss him for his efforts last season,but now is the time to move on and I for one am glad that we have taken such a stubborn stance with him whilst also finding a gem of a player in Parcell to replace him

We would all have loved Segeyaro to come back without a doubt if his heart was in it but it clearly wasn't and hence why he reneged on his contract.

So how would you have handled this scenario and would you have kept him then despite him not wanting to be here,just because his talents would be a loss to our club and SL?
Anyone with half a brain would surely realise that retaining a player at your club that doesn't want to be there is a complete waste of time and would be counter productive to the clubs culture

Agreed, he's quicker out of DH, actually passes the ball backwards, and is as good as Seg defensively. His kicking game isn't in the same class, but his other strengths make up for that.
