And Klein telling Ganson what to give when he was not allowed to at MM WAS in order was it? Like so many on here said it was at the time? Double-standards par excellence on display from one or two on here, I suggest.

And anyway - watching it on TV, the ref's calls were correct. For the offside: pedantic but correct. For the knock-on: you could see the ball end up further forward than it started, but after coming off the hand, and there was no attempt to pass. Knock on.

Same decision indeed as the pass to Pryce in the GF Bulls vs Saints a few years ago, when a ball to Pryce (who ran the try in) was deemed to have been touched by Mick Withers so was ruled a knock-on. Recall most from Leeds at the time were with the vidref on that one, so again its double-standards from some? (Incidentally, on the Withers incident, the difference was a. only the vidref saw the ball change trajectory and go forward after passing Withers and b. Mick assured me personally he never touched the ball...)

Your first try was off a clear forward pass. Even the wassock Stevo called that one. It happens. As a Bulls fan...live with it. Our second try could (and I suspect by most other vidrefs WOULD) have been pulled for the Newton incident. JJB would never have got anywhere near Jeffries, and the incident was nothing worse than a barge but even so I'm surprised it was given. It happens. As a Leeds fan...live with it. They evened out, I'd say?

Two eight-page (so far) threads criticising the decisions is the sort of thing people on here used to play hell with us over on the neo-Southstander known as RAB for doing! One or two on here are starting to look just like so many Bulls fans used to look - thinking you should be winning every game, and looking elsewhere for the excuses when another club has the damned cheek to post a win against you. IMHO, of course.

You'll still almost certainly be in the GF having won nearly all your games - you'll not likely meet a team again this season with so much to prove and so much need to win - so I really don't think its worth all this apoplexy from some over what was just a bad day a the office?

I dont.

The decisions were correct, well apart from the forward passes.

Summed up perfectly, especially the pedantic but correct.

May as well lock the thread now, nothing more needs to be said.

Leeds lost fairly, get over it.

no a forward pass is one player passing it to another player forward hence the emphasis on the word pass  , a knock on is well a knock on ie projecting the ball in a uncontrolled manner in a forward direction .

this is not my view but my 9 year old son .

Are you smarter than a 10 year old?

You evidently dont have the thought capacity for this.

If a player goes to catch it and knocks it forward and another player catches it its a knock on. However it has also been an unintentional forward pass.

You are no smarter than an incredibly stupid 10 year old.

What happened last night is over. Leeds lost and will get on with the next task of playing Salford.

Do Leeds fans really want to see us win every week, get every 50/50 decision, never drop balls, never get sin binned? never get panalised...etc etc?

So called dodgy decisions do happen. If you can't accept it, go watch a sport where contentious decisions don't happen due to 3,000 refs, where a 60 minute game takes 5 hours!!!

It's sure embarrassing being a Whino when we lose.

No definatley not. Some of us are making the rest of us look like Stains fans!

Seems to me that quite a bit of those eight page threads are taken up with 'some' Leeds fans correcting and trying in vain to educate the other Leeds fans unhappy with some of the calls.

Not sure that point is coming across in your general condemnation of the fan base here.

Yup, fair call, and I'm more than happy to clarify. I was not in any way seeking to "condemn" the general fan base. Far from it - probably more sensible RL fans on this board - amongst the old hands, anyway - than most others.

I've been around on Southstander for long enough to spot a fekkwit with my eyes shut ;) - so yes I am happy to agree its down to a few stubborn but misguided flat-earthers. I DID say "one or two on here", in my post, after all?

I hope some will bear that in mind too, when looking in with incredulity on the drivel coming from some of our own flat-earthers on RAB!

a pass is intentional  a knock on is unintentional and if a player who is in front of that player picks the ball up then it would be penalised for offside because of the intent of the reciving player . but hey don't let facts cloud your judgment . 4/10
