Burgess is not the same player since he came back from the NRL, but we won't sign a winger unless Briscoe leaves, which I don't think he will.

He is coming off contract so I would say it's less about what Briscoe wants and more about what the club is wants.

Briscoe is a solid winger. No massive issue if he stays but having someone with a bit more pace would give us another dimension. I do feel briscoe has gone a bit stale as well if I'm honest.

Burgess is one of those wingers who would have been an absolute superstar 25-30 years ago. Big and lightning quick, but for his size and speed his kick returns and work rate are poor by modern standards.
I actually think he could be lethal at centre.
