FanofTheMatch, a new competition for Leeds fans, has been launched today (3.12.10) by Eddie Gray, former LUFC footballer, manager and now summariser on Yorkshire Radio.
FanofTheMatch, from Leeds United partner Neil Hudgell Law, invites supporters to win the chance to be guest of Yorkshire Radio at the match against Coventry City on February 5th, 2011, and watch the action alongside match commentator Thom Kirwin and match summariser Eddie Gray on the gantry.
To enter FanofTheMatch, fans just compile and send Eddie a match report on any Leeds game from the home tie against Crystal Palace (4.12.10) to the game against Scunthorpe United (15.1.11).
Eddie Gray said: “I think I’ve got the best seat in the house - I get to watch the game and talk about it. Thanks to Neil Hudgell Law, FanofTheMatch gives fans the chance to share this great experience.
“To anyone who loves talking about Leeds, always has views they want to share with other fans and fancies their chances at being a pundit, I’d say have a go at entering FanofTheMatch. I’m really looking forward to getting the match reports.”
