Only the same issue as there's ever been with loan players. As soon as the middle 8's start they are effectively loan players.
If those players are deemed by, in this case, Bradford to have helped Bradford lose then they won't want them back again nor will they want a DR relationship with Wakefield.
But a fair few may end up with a slight strain or sprain. A pulled muscle here and there.
To be honest its indicative of the lack of any joined up thinking whatsoever in current RL structures. We have a dual reg system where a club could end up meeting its partner in a convoluted million pound game thats not for a million pounds. But not all clubs have a dual reg agreement, there will also be a U23s league for no-one to watch the same 4 SL clubs play each other three times and 5 lower championship sides. 1 of those SL clubs will be 'sharing' an academy because they have decided they dont want to run one themselves. Not all clubs will be running academies and there will be academies with no club at the end.
The RFL are a supply teacher letting the kids do whatever they want and occasionally justifying their paycheck with a lame request to open their textbooks and a half arsed 'its your time your wasting'
