Your job is to say to yourself on a job interview does the hiring manager likes me or not. If you aren't a particular manager's cup of tea, you haven't failed -- you've dodged a bullet.

Too little too late for me. If Leeds would of played like that all the way through the match and we could of beaten them. I just hope that the rest of Burrows career isn’t blighted by concussions during the game. However I bear no excuses.

We could play ifs and buts all day.

The right team won and Leeds gave it they best for the day.

Manly had plenty in reserve if required - the sad thing is it wasn't required

Like I and others have probably said elsewhere, we won't be playing a team like Manly again this season.

Last night we were our own worst enemy.......... we got dragged into a scrap, gave the ball up too early in the tackle count too often and were not as disciplined as Manly when it counted.

The more controlled side won and deservedly so..............but it was good to see Leeds keep going and show the grit they did.

There was plenty of effort from us, but without Burrow and Webb our creativity was pretty limited. Manly just had too much speed, skill and spark.

I think we clawed our way back into the game late on due to Manly tiring - they weren't even fuly match-fit.

We won't play anyone like as good as Manly this year. They were a cut above, better than Melbourne last year.

Leeds use a Man On Man Defence, trusting each player in the squad to be able to stop the man opposite them in the attacking line....How to get through this? Crowd the ruck area Manly style! Manly had dummy runners, inside balls and plenty of short passes in the middle of the field to create confusion within Leeds' man marking.

Agree totally. When you saw how Manly stood when within our 20 it was truely amazing. Every player stood back aiming to run a different line to confuse our defence.

We needed our passes to stick earlier. We tried a move down the left wing with Senior in the first minute of the second half which didn't stick. What happened next was a blitz by Manly scoring 3 tries in 7 mins. We should have started playing then. We had 30 mins to get back in contention.

So all in all too little too late.

I thought the scoreline flattered Leeds. Manly bombed 2 certain tries and I don't think that first try for Leeds should have been given.

Manly got tired and eased off towards the end when they knew it was won which let Leeds in for a couple of consolation tries.

Having said all that, even that below par Manly side would have whupped any of the SL teams last night, Leeds probably did better than any of the other teams would have done.

All through the second half i thought we would be lucky if we scored another try or two. When we started to play in the last quarter and we got two quick tries in i thought we had a slight chance of coming back into win from behind. ALL of the momentum was on our side we were up for it and what had to happen, they had another brawl. This wasted 3 minutes off of the clock which left too little time to claw the lead. It would not have been hard just to stick two hands in the air to call time off. I think with the momentum we was on we could have got in for the two tries that we needed.
