My uncle’s reflection of yesterday’s game against the Crusaders is that he wouldn’t have given the Rhinos players a hot shower after that performance. He’d made them wash off in the River Aire next to the training ground. So it got me thinking – who is our most grumpiest and hard to please fan?



Does he reside on here or is it that bloke in the Yorkshire Evening Post ‘write in’ pages. I forget his name but he was mentioned on here a couple of times last year. Maybe he’s someone you stand near to on a match day. Either way it should be interesting to find out..

Or objectively you could say leeds's plans went out of the window with the early injuries to Webb and McQuire 2 of our most expressive/creative players, leaving us short and to swop to a "grind" gameplan.

90% of the crowd understood that playing with 14 fit players is pretty tough. The rest of the idiots found it difficult to comprehend though. I lost count of the number of times I heard 'wake up Leeds' in the last 20 minutes.

Me after watching first half, switching to BBC2 and finding they were showing IFA Cup final was on.

Me after watching the first half on red button today . It went off at half time .

I fiddled about with the buttons and found a BBC2 thing .. it was for the Fax/Bulls game that had just started .

Gutted .

At least I was sober when I watched us yesterday and could remeber most things . I was looking forwards to seeing coverage of the second half though .



Why the flip did they switch coverage to BBC2 for the 'second stanza' ?

Apparantly from re watching the game on sky + it was to allow greater time

for discussion and interview after the game

Slightly O/T but I don't wonder we get called the Whinos. Blokes behind me think everything is the ref's fault.



Which, to be fair, I used to think too before they invented Sky+. At the match, you shout and ball at the ref, getting everything wrong, costing you the game, blah blah blah, then get home and watch it back and realise he got most (if not all) of the decisions correct. It only takes a match or two of doing this to realise, the ref's get most stuff right. It just doesn't look it from the stand. I've started defending ref's at games now, which causes more trouble than it's worth really.



It always makes me laugh when the ref gives a penalty against us and at some point during the following 5 minutes we concede a try, and they pipe up "Well played Ganson!!", "Chalk those 4 points to the f**king Ref!", "You're a disgrace ref!".



a) The penalty was probably correct.

b) It's not the ref's fault we didn't defend the resulting set properly is it!

well it could be me I generally have a lot of room around me on matchnights in the carnegie, generally about the ref,there should be no such thing as a call against us. like to voice my opinion but thats what I pay for. One thing though, may show my frustration with the way the lads are playing at times but always 100% behind them
