3 year deal would be a disaster currently hes a shadow of the player he was and is blowing and struggling with the pace of the game after 15 minutes. As an impact off the bench he would be an upgrade on Lisone and improve our go forward but his value would deteriate as he got older. We need an aggresive starting prop who can play decent minutes and carry the ball regularly. Lisone is a bench prop Sangare will never be good enough and should be 5th or 6th option and Holroyd has just not kicked on playing only around 40 games in 5 years and with the ball offers even less than Sangare. Unfortunately these guys are contracted so its not a problem thats easily solved.

Holroyd is still young and has come through our own academy, he's worth a place in the 17 when fit and should get better with age and experience.

Think I agree on some above comments - we've had our fingers burned more than once signing big names whose best years were well behind them. We probably need more of an undiscovered gem with the physical attributes to cause problems. I have said we should splash the cash for the right player but if you're talking £400-500k a year with a long-term commitment it probably isn't justifiable really.

Be interesting how Blease handles things.

Two of the backrow you’ve mentioned there have hardly played this season. Can’t really rely on that…..

You're not wrong. Hopefully we retain Martin for a fair price/ short deal. If not , we need to sign a big backrower ro join the two props imo.

With the HIA concussion stuff that's kept players out for long spells I'm not sure what we can do about it.

I think I've worked out the pattern with the recent coaching appointments at Leeds - Agar, JJB, Smith, Walker and Arthur - a succession of fully bald or shaven headed men.

This surely rules out Rowley - Keith Senior for 2025 it is then.
