You've been shouting this everywhere over these forums. Can you please enlighten us as to how he's "Shut us all up"? As I remember it, most criticism surrounding Sinfield was that he didn't cut it as an International Loose. I'm pretty sure he went well last week at Hooker and not so well at Loose, giving further credence to the argument. A parallel can be drawn with Leuleui who similarly got criticised for his international performances at Scrum Half. The fact that he is a world cup winner at Hooker doesn't negate te criticism he received as an international half. It actually supports the argument....

Sinfield over the whole game was probably our 2nd best player. He was our second top tackler overall and although he was not outstanding in the first half which other forward was better? Burgess was good but made some mistakes. You admit he played well in the second half which was at loose forward and Hooker and stand off!! In fact his contribution was the single most important in winning the half and it was a shame Smith chose to rest him for a spell.

So why pick on Sinfield before most of the others in the pack?

Or more likely because the poster Sgt Wilko has being going on like Sinfield is some kind of rugby genius that has proved all his critics wrong off the back of a solid half of rugby spent generally away from the loose position.

I think most reasoned supporters would say that Sinfield played well last week, particularly when he moved into the dummy half (hooker) role.

I'm sick and tired of the scooter hooker and have been banging on about it for years, on all sites.

no I haven't I'm just saying most of the people who no little about the game who loved slagging sinfield have been made to eat some humble pie! with some world class plays in the England shirt when many said he didn't have it in him! Like his lack of mental toughness?
