But just to clarify, Gotcha said in
2002 when Huby had just broken through into the Cas squad that he would be a very good player and that Leeds should sign him. Gotcha had seen the lad from playing through the junior ranks, where he always stood out.
Never ever did anyone ever say "Leeds were signing him" or "anything about a swap". Either Gilder is seriously dreaming there, or he has been told something pathetic by someone.
Was Gotcha right? the simple answer is no. Huby's not kicked on from the star he looked as a youngster, and is certainly not at a level of a top club now. Although I would still maintain, that had he gone to a big club at the time when I said it, then that lad would have been very good.
