"I know a lot of you have been upset by a recent newspaper article suggesting we have had financial problems over the past few weeks. I want to make this statement as clear as I possibly can: Castleford Tigers has always stood on its own two feet. Even in the early months of 2013 when the vultures were hovering over us, our Chairman, Mr Jack Fulton stood up to be counted; he didn't ask for any help and pledged his support and love for our great club".
Isn't the same as standing on your own two feet is it?
By definition of the term would be that the business supports itself and doesnt need such showing of support from people such as Mr Fulton.
Its perhaps a point of pedantry but equally its also spin.
I'm sure i will now be laid waste by the forum rabble, but i think its a fair enough point of order.
That said the relative tranquility of the castleford tigers financial dealings is something us wakey fans can only dream to see soon.
