I would prefer not to. However if we were to consider i would only want them as our tennants we don't want a repeat of their recent financial problems affecting our future, we don't want anyone taking out mortgages against our ground without anyone knowing would we

Why the he'll would we want to help our biggest franchise rivals a massive helping hand to get a franchise. It sounds like this Elston bloke would want a share of our revenue streams. We have put a lot of work into the ground, now Wakie would like to join the party at this late stage after stating they didn't want a part of it. Granted it was different owners. For me the only way we should allow them to join is as tenants. Personally I would tell em to bog off. I know it sounds harsh but our SL survival is at risk. I genuinely hope they get a franchise, but why should they be allowed to just jump on our bandwagon?

Knew they'd change their mind sooner or later. Newmarket has hit a brick wall and they're looking for something to grab onto.

If they want to pay an extortionate amount of rent + a fee up front + give up 75% of concession & parking revenue then fine, let em come play, the empty black & amber seats and all the CASTLEFORD signage will be brilliant for them

Elston now 'openly admitting' that Newmarket is a questionable option. With wakey a championship side for 3 years and no guarentee of returning to SL why would anyone build a 12k stadium at Newmarket.

If Wakey share Glasshaughton then they will be a championship side and will never retain SL status. Having 2 teams in the same stadium hardly spreads the licences.

Not bothered either way. What do the super, world-class team of Wakefield need to do with us? They're a certainty to get a licence according to some of their fan on their forum.
