What exactly is wrong with that? Good to see the club being pro-active in improving relations. Seems to me they are damned if they do and damned if they don't.

A bit strange though. Do you feel you need to be thanked for supporting your local team? It's like having a party at work because you turned up.

I think it's a great idea. My kids would love to meet the first team squad and get their shirts signed. And get the chance to watch a few matches for free.

Only problem is we're on holiday that weekend!

Poor analogy, you are paid to go to work whereas you voluntary give up money to watch your team. Just good to see the club being positive and trying to build bridges.

Maybe it's just the name. It just sounds a bit dodgy like they know the squad isn't big enough so lets have a moral boost fan day. Im always suspicious of these HR things. Don't trust em.

I don't know why they stopped the players cards that the kids could collect each week. All they would need to do is have a player each week staying behind to sign them.

It is a good idea,something the club should of done earlier but given the criticism of the board lately it seems like an attempt by the board to "butter up" the fans
