Very little change, in keeping with the general stability of this close season. Looks pretty light, as we all suspect.

The run on 13 can hold it's own, there is enought quality for a more than competitive 17, we just look thin when people are injured/suspended.

24 players there with the likelihood that only 20 of them will actually be expected to play many games. Massey, Thompson, Davies and Holmes might get 1 or 2 games IMO.

Take into account the likelihood of Sherwin missing a number of games, Hudson's arm being a concern and Dixon apparently being out for an extended period of time from the start of the season. I'm not overly impressed by the strength of the squad which everyone knows was a massive problem last season.

I fear we'll be victims of a few heavy defeats when injuries inevitably take their toll.

I have got a feeling that after the Boxing day match TM might promote 3 more into the squad if they play OK, but that will still leave only 20 front line players

One thing i never understand about squad numbers, why do they always miss numbers out? ie. 20, 24, etc

That, and when you see a player has the number 26 shirt it makes the squad seem bigger.

I wonder if superstition has any part. Who was the last player to wear 24?
