Well, our season finished yesterday with a defeat to Barrow in the GF as some of you may have seen, and in conversation I know that many fax fans recall the cas cup game as the highlight of the year for us, me included. Just thought I'd let you know! and thanks, it was a hell of a game, and i say this despite the result... Imagine how enjoyable it'd have been had we won!!

If it's any consolation (a) I thought the entertainment value of both the Championship GFs was light years ahead of the SL semis (b) I suspect most Cas fans enjoyed your win against Fev nearly as much as our win against you, which was very,very fortunate.

I believe that it was you losing the game against us that started your run of bad form in your league, and ultimately cost you the league title, i think your guys put so much into that game and were very unlucky to lose, it was one of the best games i saw down the lane this year too.

Now been living in Halifax for the last two years but a solid Cas fan, i can say that i have a close link now with Fax and was watching closely on Sunday. Unfortunately for fax your best two games this season as for entertainment you have lost. I would rate the GF on sunday up there with any GF in the past, Well Done Fax and best of luck for next year!!!!

I thought the Halifax team that played us that day were superb, you looked head and shoulders above the rest of the teams in the championship, i really did think that you would win that league easy, what went wrong.
