Heard from a very good source that PL is playing at scrum half for us tomorrow.

Has he played there for you lot and if so how did he do?

Oh and keep it hush, Hull KR don't know.

So he'll be solid enough.

We're a bit thin on the ground, with JVD and Matty Smith out, for scrum halves at the moment so be good if he can slot in.

Think he's played hooker before - so it would make a bit more sense for Budworth to play scrum half and Lupton at hooker.

Would it?

I'm sure Budworth has played primarily hooker whereas I know for sure Lupton has played scrum half before.

Personally, i can't remember him every playing scrum half for Cas, although it says he did, must of been first time we were in NL1, but i found this out for you ...

''Whilst his position of choice is as at Loose-forward, he can also play in a number of other positions. Whilst playing for Castleford Tigers he played Centre, Stand Off, Scrum Half, Second Row and Loose Forward''.

So i guess over all there are 6 positions he can play, he's a terrific all rounder and is pretty much like you said a solid performer.

I think he played at scrum half a couple of times, including the win away at Wigan in 2006. He's good enough at pushing the forwards around the park, but don't expect too much flair and creativity.

TBH I think he played stand off on that day with Viva Brad at scrum half. I could be wrong though. He'll do a decent job wherever he plays, though, and you'll always get 100%
