i know its a bit early to be saying but im really confident of a high finish this year

if we can can get into the play offs and get a good cup run together i can really see us becoming a member of the "big 4" like the team of 1999

I think it will be another season or so until we really see what Matterson is trying to do here. As you says Its still early days but signs are looking promising but there are some good sides in this league who will take time to gel. We need to keep doing what we are doing and picking up the early points before the rest start to tick eg your catalans and your bradfords.

Nowt wrong with confidence, mate, but personally I'm a million miles of getting giddy.

Winning away at Catalans is a very tough thing to do, we've proved that every match we play is winnable if we have the right attitude and belief, now for the hard part of maintaining it.

Now for reality, to say your top 4 material on basis of 4 games is ridiculously over the top. Considering you finished with the spoon last year.

I agree. But let some people have their moment of glory. We haven't won 3 games on the bounce in SL since 2003.

We set off in 99 being excellent in defence but boring in attack (from memory)--definately not the case this time

Lets hope to get in the big 4 again--and stay there
