I suppose your intensive research to conclude that this is fact has included head-to-head analysis of previous game performances of the main protagonists in opposition to each other, combined with those of the missing personnel against the same players. This will also have been done for similar playing conditions and time of year, of course. You will then have calculated the offset in performance and used these data to replicate, by some type of computer modelling system, I suspect, the projected scorelines of the games. I would hope that the information used has been taken from various previous years to compensate for one-off over- and under-performances in the previous encounter that you've used. This, to be honest, sounds like valuable research and I'd dearly love to see the models used and, of course, the raw data collected. Could you post them in response to this comment, please?
Thanks.
Anyone that knows anything about the game make an informed judgement about whether a team is in form or not, hth. See it doesn’t have to be that complicated!

I don't think anyone here would disagree with the idea that the team that played at the business end of the season was out of form. I don't think too many people are in much doubt as to the fact that the large number of injuries we sustained, especially to the forwards, was the cause of this.
But of course, that's not the point I was discussing. You said that it was a "FACT" (emphasis yours) that "you would of lost all the game you did despite who was playing" [sic].
All I'm asking for is the information that led you to this alleged fact. Unless, of course, you can't back up this rather outlandish claim which would leave you looking rather pathetic.

Steady on mate, it is a polecat muppet your talking to,
"Castleford's biggest home crowd of the 1991-1992 season wasn't quite 12,000 while on average they'd sit around 6000 but the noise, the chanting and the singing just blows you away" - Tawera Nikau "Standing Tall"
"I can tell you the atmosphere was extraordinary at Wheldon Road on big days. The ground held around 15,000 people, every one of them close to the action on the field and the noise would be enough to send a rumble through the town" - Malcolm Reilly "Reilly - A Life in Rugby League"

I don’t think you was particularly out of form at the business end of the season. The truth was that you playing harder and more in form teams. For all these injuries you keep moaning about, none of them were hardly star players and a few were covered by loan signing ( that probably performed better than what was injured ). What I’m claiming is that if the regular 17 that played up to Easter was to be playing at the business end you would off still lost the same game in the same manner. If you disagree please tell me which games would of gone your way had you had a full 17?
All considered I really don’t think you was that unlucky with injuries. You have to consider that you are a one trick pony team, I don’t think anyone can deny that. What you fail to mention is the incredible good luck to had with star man Chase barely missing a game all year. Of course you’ll only see it through black and amber glasses and filter out the contrary evidence that doesn’t suite your bias view of the game.

Well look whos crawled out from under his stone. How you doing Speedy? Not heard from you since Newmarket got rejected, you know...when you in such hysteria at possibility of WTWRLFC going bust! Funny how things turn out
Some talk of Bradford Northern and some of Hull and Leeds Of Wigan and St Helens and such great teams as these Of all the teams in Rugby league with me you will agree The best team in the whole wide world is Wakefield Trinity!
All this CT fan false bravado comes from nothing but fear.
WT have finally taken steps to right the wrongs in our house, for decades you've been able to plod along (even when relegated) as CT always had the safety net of having the shambolic neighbors next door. You looked good in comparison as we bumbled from calamity to calamity. Things have changed at WT and EVERYONE knows it.
The way I see it; there are two types of Cas fan at the moment. Those that admit they're scared of WT & those who are in denial.
We're coming after you! - For me these games will be our cup finals, every WT fan will admit that! We have a score to settle!

Fantastic attempt at trolling, or you're even more of a deluded idiot than I already thought you were - congratulations.

Speaking of deluded morons, here's another!
Ok then, 4 props down, 2 second rowers a centre and both wingers (all starters) - take the same number out of ANY team and you'll see just how weak they get.
For example, using them numbers if you did that to the Leeds team you would lose: Peacock, Leuluai, Bailey, Whoever the 4th prop is, Ablett, Clarkson, Jones-Bishop, Hall and Senior...tell me that isn't weakened and would effect results?
As for which games would have gone the other way, straight off the bat is the Hull KR game at the end of the season, if Cas still had a pack they would have won that game with ease and there's a number of others too, but you're too much of a deluded troll to notice that.

TBH, Wakefield have a good record against Cas in SL. Also, during the time from 2000 to 2009 Wakefield's finishing position in the league was 0.6 places better than Castleford's (if you include our time in NL1). So, where has all your unjustified paranoia come from? Both sides have been in the doldrums for the last 10 years or so. Had it been in the 1980s or 1990s when we were vastly superior to you, I could have understood this, but recently we've been fairly evenly matched.
Prime examples of bravado we've seen on here have been:
From yourself: "there are two types of Cas fan at the moment. Those that admit they're scared of WT & those who are in denial" having been written before a game has been played with new squads and new coaches.
From WTW's deehell: "you would of lost all the game you did despite who was playing". Classic rubbish that simply can't be backed up in any way shape or form.
From imwakefieldtillidie: (on next season, again with no clue as to how the team and coach perform) "I can't see you causing us too many problems. In fact, if it weren't for Rangi Chase, I don't think you'd cause any problems at all."
From newgroundb4cas: (on next season, again with no clue as to how the team and coach perform) "I think we will be well above you next season .."
Bravado: Defiant or swaggering behaviour or a pretence of courage; a false show of bravery or disposition toward showy defiance or false expressions of courage.
All these look defiant and swaggering to me. All from Wakefield fans, too.
You like the word denial, don't you? I wonder when we'll be treated to it again on this thread.
