With hindsight I can see just how irritating it must be to read all the bickering that has gone on, it clearly was not my intention to upset the majority of fans on here, but having got caught up in it all its quite clear that I have played my part in it. I would like to apologise unreservedly to all the Cas fans on here for this and to show my sincerety I will not post on here anymore. A merry Xmas to you all, good luck with the team building for next season and I hope it is a successful one although not at our expense. And finally I hope you get the ground your club richly deserve. Good luck Chiss.

BTW this also includes you 1+1 have a good season following Cas next year

Fifthed (is that a word?) the petty quarrelling between he 'who shall remain nameless' and the Wakey troll brigade is extremely tiresome, to say the least.

Take a hint guys give it a rest eh :?: :!:

Statement from Halifax RLFC

To nip this in the bud and stop the rumour mongers, Halifax RLFC are not being issued with a winding-up order. This listing is due to a long standing dispute over payments made to HMRC that were not recorded in the correct manner at the time due to issues arising from a switch from paper to electronic procedures, a dispute that has since been settled amicably. The club has met its liabilities in full, and does not owe money to HMRC. This listing is simply due to a timing issue, and correspondence received by the club last month indicated it would be removed by November 11th. That it hasn't been removed has caused unnecessary embarrassment to the club, but we understand it will be delisted later today.

As mentioned by many on this thread, Wakey is one of our best attended home games, and they are match's that nearly every Cas fan looks forward too, nobody (except the mindless minority) would actually wish to see them fold.

However you cant help but be slightly amused when a lot of the Wakey stadium trolls are busy telling us the reason we wont get a stadium is because of finance. This we are told is not an issue for Wakey, when it actually turns out that the state of their finances are aparently buggered.

Laugh I nearly sh*t myself :!:

Nar then Matthew lad, i tell theee why i have a smug grin about all this, when Wakey beat Rovers in the 1998 grand final to get in super league, the association of premier league clubs or whatever they were then called, took a cut in there sky money to give it to Wakey, because the then super league clubs said they would allow a club up but wouldnt take a cut in there funding. In return Wakey vowed to carry on the campaign to keep P+R alive. Wakey went back on there word and disgracefully voted to accept the franchise system. Now even on the Wakey forum there fans seem to have forgotten where there cash came from, if Wakey went out of business i wouldnt shed a tear. They took the cash from the neady lower league clubs then turned there back on them and stuck the knife in.

Precisely. Is there really any wonder why the mods on here simply can't be arsed any more? It's monotonous, it's boring, it's annoying, it's frustrating, and it's a shame because it used to be a great board. And it's nothing the mods deserve when they give up their own time to do it.

Bonzo 4 days have passed till your post......the thread is all but dead so why post now???? if the Mods you speak of "can't be arsed any more? " well i say pack in and let someone who will police the board do so and also keep the trolls that have at times come onto this board to gloat belittle and goad in their place.
